General
Send an inquiry through the contact form with a brief description of your vision - subject, mood, colour palette, and approximate size. You will receive a personalised quote and timeline within 48 hours. A deposit confirms the commission, and a progress photo is shared at the midpoint before delivery.
Typically 3–6 weeks depending on the size and complexity of the piece. The exact timeline is confirmed at the time of booking. Rush commissions may be available - mention your deadline in your inquiry.
A wide range of sizes is available from small A5 studies to large statement canvases. Standard sizes (A4, A3, 12×16", 18×24") are most common. Custom sizes are available on request - just include your preferred dimensions in your inquiry.
Yes. Portrait commissions (human and pet) are accepted. Please provide 2–3 clear, well-lit reference photos when submitting your inquiry. The higher the photo quality, the more detail that can be captured in the painting.
Primarily watercolour on high-quality cotton paper. Mixed media (watercolour with ink, gold leaf, or pencil) is also available. Oil and acrylic commissions can be discussed - mention your preferred medium in your inquiry.

Glass perfume bottles, wine glasses, champagne flutes, glass tumblers, and wood panels. Non-porous surfaces with some translucency produce the best results. If you have a specific object in mind, mention it in your inquiry.
Yes. Original illustrations, personal motifs, names, monograms, and custom designs are all accepted. A hand-sketched design preview is created and shared for your approval before any engraving begins. Revisions are included.
Most engraving commissions are completed within 2–3 weeks. This includes the design preview stage, your approval, and the engraving itself. Rush orders can be discussed - mention your deadline in your inquiry.
Engraving commissions start from approximately $85 CAD. Pricing depends on the object, design complexity, and whether you are supplying the object or having one sourced. Send an inquiry for a quote.
Either option works. You can ship your own bottles or glassware (recommended for sentimental items), or sourcing a suitable piece can be arranged as part of the commission. Mention your preference in your inquiry.
Share your concept - occasion, silhouette, fabric preferences, cultural references, and any mood board images. Together we develop sketches and material swatches over 1–2 weeks. Garment production begins once the design is approved at final fitting (in-person or virtual).
A styling engagement begins with a 20-minute discovery conversation to understand your goals, occasion, and budget. Within 3 days you receive a personalised lookbook with outfit directions and sourcing recommendations. A final styling session (in-person or remote) finalises the look.
Yes. Pakhrin Illustrations bridges Canadian and South Asian aesthetics by design. Fashion design and styling services are available remotely for clients in both Canada and India, with in-person consultations available in Canada.
Yes. All commissions are carefully packaged and shipped across Canada with tracking. Shipping to India is available on request. Shipping costs are confirmed at the time of commissioning.
All pieces are packed with professional-grade protective materials. In the unlikely event of damage during transit, please photograph the packaging and piece immediately and contact us at ankita.tamangrocks@gmail.com. We will work with you to find a resolution.
Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. If you need to cancel after work has begun, you will be charged for the work completed to date. Completed physical works are non-refundable once shipped. Full terms are set out in the Terms of Service.
Yes. When you commission a piece, you receive ownership of the physical artwork. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the copyright remains with Pakhrin Illustrations, including the right to photograph and share completed pieces for portfolio and promotional use. If you require full copyright transfer, this can be discussed and agreed before the commission begins.
